Murchison Calcrete Uranium Super Project
The Murchison Province contains the world-class Yeelirrie calcrete-hosted uranium deposit (52.5 Kt U308). The poorly explored Northwest Murchison is considered by Venus to have potential for uranium ore deposits within westerly draining paleodrainage channels.
Venus has seven pending Exploration Licences covering calcrete uranium targets. Targets are selected on the basis of airborne radiometrics and a Venus paleodrainage study.
The Yarloo Well project area contains the Burgess Bore calcrete uranium occurrences with up to 295 ppm U in reconnaissance drill holes.
